This harness is built and tested in house for swapping the 1.4t CZTA motor into virtually any chassis using a manual transmission of end uses choice. An OEM 1.4t engine harness must be present on your 1.4t motor and in usable condition. Our swap harness consist of the 1 of 2 plugs off ecu, a t14 plug that connects to your existing 1.4t engine side harness and a small fuse block that contains fuses for all engine components. If swapping into a ce2 chassis car drop us a line and we can make it pnp if desired.
A proper swap file is available from TDC Shop (750$ additional cost) AND required separate to the swap harness. Tuning specs can be found on our dedicated page: 1.4t TUNING
The swap harness has several simple connections to chassis:
Battery +
Battery -
T14a plug- connects to 1.4t motor harness
Trigger- (12v+ switch lead for activating ecu)
FP control module (utilizes the oem czta fp module for proper pwm control)
Clutch switch lead
Brake light lead (hooks to existing brake light switch in vehicle)
Oil pressure switch (for dash light)
Coolant temp (for cluster gauge)
Tac box signal (use for tachometer adaptor)
